Just to reiterate - this is a scam - run as fast as you can in the opposite direction! Signs of a scam are: 1. you cannot meet them in person - whoever they claim to be - owner, agent, relative of owner, etc - - they always have some kind of story about being out of the country or out of the area, etc............ they say you cannot view the property, and give a story regarding that, too 2. they want you to wire money, usually via Western Union, and then will send you keys 3. the rent amount is too good to be true - artificially low Since you saw this on Trulia - please flag it and bring it to the attention of the staff Best wishes.....you were smart to question this, and not fall prey to a scam artist!
